Katie Hyatt is an clinical MFT student intern completing her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy through Capella University. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. Katie brings diverse organizational and community leadership experience to her practice, including her ongoing work as the Board President of a local non-profit organization. Katie is seeing clients under the direct supervision of Mike Neff, LCSW, ISUDC.

Katie lives locally in Tooele County with her husband, two children, and their two dogs. Outside of the clinic, she spends her downtime enjoying crochet, paint by numbers, and various kinds of science fiction.

In a world full of voices telling you what to believe, I am passionate about helping you listen to and empower the spiritual voice within yourself. Whether your journey involves claiming, defining, or strengthening your faith, I am here to support you in navigating that transition with autonomy.

Passion in Grief Journeys

Life is intrinsically tied to loss—whether through death, health challenges, or the consequences of choice. Grief is unique, poignant, and often non-linear. I don’t believe in dictating the pace of your healing. Instead, I focus on helping individuals, couples, and communities tap into their innate resilience and find support as they walk their own unique path through the "messy and beautiful" landscape of loss.

Passion in Neurodiverse families

The world is rarely built to support all learning types or experiences. Families navigating ADHD, Autism, and other neurodivergent paths deserve more than just "coping"—they deserve access to resources and an understanding of what is possible. I am dedicated to helping these families find hope and develop systemic strategies to navigate a world that may look different than they originally planned.

When choosing a therapist it’s empowering to know their approach to Therapy. I view mental health through a systemic lens, meaning I look at how our relationships, environments, and a client’s internal experience are all impacting my client’s needs. I utilize interventions from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mind-Body Bridging (MBB) tailored to my client's needs and goals. I focus on helping clients identify functional, individualized solutions while fostering a deeper understanding of their own internal systems. I prioritize building an empathetic, collaborative environment where we can safely explore these dynamics.
